We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our CHIMERA project, achieved in collaboration with the esteemed Consortium Member, the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA). Recently, we convened a pivotal meeting in Fukushima. This visit also included an insightful tour of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, the site of the 2011 disaster.
This joint meeting was to exchange scientific and technical information on topics related to cooperation, such as field monitoring methods and research status of environmental radiation survey. This collaborative effort represents a critical step forward in enhancing our capabilities in radiation detection and response for this project.
