We are pleased to announce the Final Demonstration of the CHIMERA project, which will take place on 18–19 June 2026 in Warsaw, Poland, at the Fire University (Akademia Pożarnicza).
This event represents a major milestone of the project and will showcase its results in a realistic operational environment. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the CHIMERA system in action, including its capabilities in CBRN detection, data fusion, and decision support.
About the Event
The final demonstration will highlight how CHIMERA contributes to strengthening European preparedness and response capabilities in the face of complex CBRN threats. The system has been developed and validated in close cooperation with end users to ensure its operational relevance and usability.
The event will bring together representatives of:
- public authorities
- the CBRN community
- research and industry
- European institutions
Event Structure
Day 1 – Conference
(18 June 2026)
Location: Fire University, Warsaw
The first day will focus on:
- project objectives and context
- system architecture and key technologies
- achieved results
- presentation of operational scenarios
Day 2 – Live Field Demonstration
(19 June 2026)
Location: Fire University Training Ground
The second day will feature:
- live operational scenarios
- real-time system performance
- demonstration of detection and decision support tools
- practical illustration of how CHIMERA supports first responders
